And here we are. I have to go back to London.
I’ve had British Airways page open on my computer for two days, I have to buy the ticket, I really have to, but I don’t want to. I wish I could stay.
On the plus side, we have a new flat, so I will be too busy browsing IKEA website to be worrying about the horrible weather, the tasteless food and the cold temperature. At least, I hope so.
Below some pictures from our last trip around home, pictures of what I am leaving.
I hope you liked them!
We are in Italy for Easter, to spend some time with my family, I’ve been waiting for this holiday to come 🙂
We are in my home town, Brescia, for a couple of weeks and I’m loving it! I miss it very much every time I am not here. Brescia is in a great position: between Milano and Verona, 2.5 hours from Venice, surrounded by mountains and a short drive from 3 amazing lakes. It is also a beautiful historical city and if you are planning to visit Italy, you may want to check this area out, it has a lot to offer.
I went walking with Daniel along the river, there’s a lovely cycle path there and I decided to go for a long walk after lunch….I am eating so much pasta here!! I really needed to move a bit!
We’ve been to Venice for three days, this is where I studied and is by far the most beautiful city I have ever visited! Unfortunately, Venice is not wheel-friendly so if you travel by bike, wheelchair or buggy it will be quite difficult to move around, up and down all those bridges and stairs. That’s why we decided to go without the pram and to take our son in the Baby Bjorn, which is a practical solution to carry babies and toddlers when pram is not available. We spent 3 amazing days, it was very warm and sunny and not as full of tourists as usual. I love Venice and spending time there with my family and my friends from uni was great.
We’ll be back to London after Easter and I can’t wait to start planning a new adventure somewhere in Europe!
I will attend a pottery course in Westminster from April till July, I am very excited about it and I am really looking forward to getting my hands dirty!!
Happy Easter everyone!
